Apply to the Major
Students must apply for admission to the BA in Applied Data Analysis. Applications to the major are accepted in the fall and spring semesters.
Application Requirements
Pre-Majors
Current and prospective UConn students can indicate their intention to become a major by declaring as a pre-applied data analysis major. Pre-major declarations are accepted on a rolling basis. You do not need to meet any prerequisite requirements to become a pre-major.
Pre-majors must formally apply to the BA in Applied Data Analysis when they are eligible.
Majors
Applicants must meet all the prerequisite course requirements before they apply to the major. Applications are accepted year-round and admitted each semester.
All eligible students may apply to the major. UConn students do not need to be pre-majors to apply. All applicants will be considered equally during application review.

Application Deadlines
The application for the major is open year-round. The program will notify students of their acceptance to the major prior to course registration.
